Dead pixel policy

What happens if there is a dead pixel?

Every panel maker has a pixel policy, and they are not all equal. Here is where Kuycon draws the line, and how to make a claim if you find a bad pixel.

What is covered

Only dead pixels (fully black) and bright pixels (permanently lit) are covered. If your monitor shows more than 3 of them, or a single one in the central 5 cm × 5 cm area, it qualifies for an exchange or a refund.

The threshold is the same across the range, whether the panel is 5K or 6K: 3 pixels, not a number that grows with the resolution.

How to make a claim

Contact customer service with your order number and evidence of the defect, a clear photo or a short video. The team confirms eligibility and arranges the next step.

Confirmed cases are resolved by repair, replacement or refund. Not covered: dead or bright pixels below the threshold, panel non-uniformity (including backlight bleed), a lit or dark sub-pixel, foreign substance in the panel or between the glass and the panel, cosmetic wear and accidental damage. Your legal guarantees remain fully intact. To locate the pixels before writing to us, use the free screen test in PixelFix.

The same policy across the range

Every current Kuycon panel is held to the same pixel policy.
